The Cray Crays - About Us
Our Story
The Cray Crays is a children’s brand created by author Adama Wiggan to celebrate imagination, color, and creativity. Through books, characters, and activities, The Cray Crays inspires kids to embrace their emotions, develop social-emotional skills, and explore the vibrant world around them.
The Author
Adama Wiggan is the creator of The Cray Crays, a vibrant children’s brand that brings imagination, emotional learning, and storytelling to life. With over a decade of experience as a professional nanny, substitute teacher, and now a Social-Emotional Learning advocate (SEL), Adama has spent her career guiding children with patience, creativity, and care. Her first book, The Crayon That Cried, helps children explore feelings in a fun and colorful way. Through books, workshops, and playful activities, Adama's mission is simple: to celebrate every child and show that imagination makes learning brighter.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create fun, judgment-free spaces where children can laugh, learn, and be themselves. Through storytime events, SEL workshops, and interactive activity sheets, The Cray Crays helps families and schools support children’s social-emotional growth with joy and creativity.
